Inclusive Work Training in Libraries ON!
We're excited to announce that the partners are fully immersed in the development of Work Package 4 (WP4) of the BYBLiOS Project: Inclusive Work Training in Library. This pivotal phase is dedicated to crafting innovative tools aimed at empowering individuals with cognitive disabilities.
Here below the main activities we’re focusing on:
Developing a Protocol for Professional Inclusion to provide guidelines and best practices for inclusive library work environments.
Creating a Career e-Portfolio, a digital tool designed to support skill recognition and career development.
These initiatives are designed to ensure that libraries become spaces of opportunity and growth for everyone.
We are currently gathering all the variables necessary to outline the procedure for integrating candidates into roles within libraries. This process involves collecting scientific literature and conducting interviews with field experts to define the candidate’s profile, as well as the context and responsibilities of the library.
Our aim is to develop a comprehensive protocol that addresses all relevant aspects, including legal, economic, and documentary considerations.
Stay tuned for updates as we shape these transformative resources together!
