Inclusive Library Internships Have Begun!

We have exciting updates to share!

Over the past months, we have been working on developing a protocol for the inclusion of people with disabilities as workers in libraries. Now, we are thrilled to announce that the protocols have been finalized, and the internships have officially started!

Across five countries, we are testing an innovative approach to career development for people with disabilities. Through 10 internships, we aim to create new opportunities, support learning with dedicated training for librarians, and implement an e-portfolio to document and enhance the experience of participants.

We are closely monitoring the progress of the internships with the support of expert tutors and technological tools designed to facilitate reflection on the internship experience.
